Huawei Together 2020 Campaign (Grayling PR)

At the end of 2019, Huawei launched Together 2020—a global campaign designed to bring people closer through the power of Huawei’s connected ecosystem, including AI, EMUI, Huawei Mobile Services, Harmony OS, and 5G. The campaign showcased how these technologies seamlessly work together to enable faster, safer, and more meaningful communication.

To reinforce the theme of connection, we launched a global user-generated content competition, inviting audiences to capture and share moments with loved ones using their Huawei devices under the hashtag #Together2020. Winners received exclusive Huawei product bundles, further incentivising participation and engagement.

As Content Strategist, I led the social media content planning and campaign copywriting, ensuring messaging aligned with global priorities while resonating locally. I developed influencer toolkits and helped identify UK-based talent to activate and amplify the campaign, balancing strategic awareness-driving with authentic storytelling. I also liaised directly with Huawei HQ in Shenzhen to coordinate the rollout of global film and still assets, ensuring alignment across local markets. Additionally, I oversaw the execution and optimisation of social content across both global and local channels, supported ongoing performance monitoring, and delivered actionable insights.

The campaign successfully activated across multiple markets, significantly increasing brand consideration from 31% to 67% and driving a 37% uplift in content engagement.
